Academy of Mass Communication Distt Lucknow is a voluntary organization that was established in 1996. Initially, it was devoted and dedicated to work for the vulnerable community on requirement as per as with self-contribution. These social welfare activities have been done in the unorganized sector with the help of members of the Management Committee of the organization to work for the upliftment of the socio-economic condition of the vulnerable community in an organized way. In order to achieve the objective of organization has decided to register the organization with the name of the Academy of Mass Communication. Bylaws and a memorandum of organization were prepared through participatory efforts. The organization was registered in the Society Registration Act, 1860 (XXI) on dated 20.08.1996 with registration number 855/1996-97 with the great efforts of the Secretary of the organization. After the registration of the organization, various social welfare activities have been done by the organization with self-contribution and contributions from membership fee, subscription & donation, etc. Establishment of schools vocations/technical institutes, and running them is a great achievement for the organization. It is a source of inspiration for our organization to work on education sector.
Academy of Mass Communication, the asylum of knowledge, is located in the heart of the city, Qaiserbagh. It is a well-known and reputed study centre of Lucknow in respect of Computer and Urdu education.
Urdu and Arabic Study Centre, affiliated to NCPUL, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India is also being run under the management of this society.
2005-2006, One year Journalism Course sponsored by, U.P. Alpsankhyak Avam Vittya Vikas Nigam Ltd., Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, is completed under the guidance of well known teaching staff.
In November-2005, Academy of Mass Communication has set up its Sale-Depot of Urdu Books under the publication of NCPUL, Min. of HRD, to facilitate Urdu lovers to get the books of various topics in economic price. In December-2005, National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language, Ministry of HRD, Government of India, organized 7th Kul Hind Urdu Kitab Mela in Lucknow in which famous Indian publishers including those from other countries participated and exhibited their books. Academy of Mass Communication also participated in this fair and exhibited Urdu books.
Besides Urdu and Arabic training, AMC also offers English Speaking Course and other academic coaching. It also runs training centre of Silai – Kadhai in which more than 50 students are getting trained. The main aim of these trainings is to equip the students with knowledge and confidence and make them stand on their own foot in today’s competitive world.
Apart from these Academy of Mass Communication also provides free education to those who are incapable of paying normal fees.
Academy of Mass Communication also provides placement and many of our students are very well placed in reputed firms and companies.

Academy of Mass Communication takes a very enthusiastic participation in cultural events and has organized many unforgettable events like – Urdu Script Contest, Art Competition, Urdu Seminar, Annual Function, Rasheed Jahan Birthday Celebration, Independence Day Celebration, Ghazal Program etc. |
